What we have done and what we still need to do

Here's a link to the document that lists what we have done and what we still need to do regarding the PBAT: The Can Project.

The contents of the document are also pasted below.

PBAT: The Can Project

What we’ve done (not in order)What we still need to do
  • Measured the can’s radius, height, volume, and surface area
  • Combined the volume formula and the surface area formula by solving for height
  • Graphed the generalized height by varying the radius without changing the volume
  • Found missing radii (given the volume and the height) or find missing heights (given the volume and the radii)
  • Described the tables and the graphs
  • Found the new surface area function by solving the volume formula for the height and substituting the new height formula into the surface area function
  • Found the minimum surface area
  • Create models of the old and the new can
  • Write a letter to the company that explains the benefits of your new design compared to their old design.
  • Revise the letter to complete the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd drafts
  • Prepare for the presentation by creating the slides and writing the speaker notes
